Jen Matos-Hinkle instructor

Jen Matos-Hinkle is a Southern California native. A workout enthusiast with a competitive edge, she was looking for a challenge. She took her first Pure Barre class after a friend suggested it. She has been absolutely hooked every since. "This is the one workout that I have tried that poses a challenge each and every time. I have never seen such quick results from a workout!"

Jen graduated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with her degree in Animal Science, and is currently the Regional Field Trainer with Banfield Pet Hospital. Jen was previously the Training Operations Manager at Helen Woodward Animal Center.

She shares her home in Encinitas with her husband John and their big dog Jersey, who she loves to take for long runs along Pacific Coast Highway. She also plays on a local intramural softball team and can often be found lying on a beach towel at Moonlight Beach.

What do most people not know about her? Her brother is an executive chef but she....HATES TO COOK!!! Maybe Jersey is a good hamburger flipper on the grill? Oops....one fell...guess I have to eat it!
